Where would YOU go if you wanted to meet and get to know truly intelligent people?

I'm talking about knock-your-socks-off intelligent. What's your best bet for meeting people who are highly intelligent? Where would you go if you're an adult (no longer in school)? Brainstorm for me please - any and all answers appreciated?
