You should give him something that he will see everyday, that will remind him of how helpful he has been to you. A nice watch with an engraving would be cool. Or if there is a hobby he is into, try something for that. Better yet, go for something that has meant a lot to both of you, like a reminder of a trip you took, or something you did together. And never forget the power of the written word. Write a letter to him telling him exactly how much his love has meant to you. You can say it out loud, but a letter is something that he can read over and over. Just go with your heart. You can't go wrong.
