How do I become tough and still be a reflection of Christ?

Just something to think about - you have to be tough to "show the other cheek." Our natural reactions are to become angry and to fight back - I know this as well as any. It takes stronger character and toughness to love those who hate us. I think, though, that if you show love to others, there's a good chance that those cruel people will either move on to another target or they'll hopefully be changed somewhat by your love.
