Any good free DVD rippers out there?

I am looking for a good (and free) DVD ripper to convert my home movie DVDs (in VOB format) to MPEG. It will only be used for about 10 DVDs as my current ones are already in MPEG format. Does anyone know of any good ones that won't bombard my PC with adware or leave a watermark on my files? Thanks!
