Why is my period so early?

My period is 2 and a half weeks early. 5 days ago I was diagnosed with uti and was told to take bactrim (antibiotic) and azo (pain reliever). My period is very odd also. It's mostly dark brown and very light. Anyone know what this could be from? Meds maybe? Thanks
