Urgent! Gaming computer can't process Google?

I just bought a high speed gaming computer and an N wireless adapter. I downloaded a bunch of things the first day (with the hel[p of AVG security) now I'm trying to download stuff but O can't surf the web or anything. I can game on highest resolution with no problem, and when i go to my bookmarks bar i can go to youtube from there, but if i type any url or google anything it times out. I am stuck with my current downloads and youtube, any other site doesnt load so I am getting mad, bro. My computer is amazing at gaming, but now it cant surf google. If this helps my old computer also stopped working on surfing the net, so Im not sure whats happening. I have restarted the router and tried everything for the last 2 days and i cant surf the net via google or anything. I use safari browser, but internet explorer doesnt work either. Can anyone help me with this?
