Can I switch my visa from a tourist to a student visa without leaving Korea?

Hi. Yes you can switch it once you are in Korea. However, another application fee may apply to you for the switch, and you'll have to deal with the hles again. But technically speaking, yes, you can go there first if you are in a hurry and get your student visa afterwards from the immigration office.
